So today my date to the dance backed out on me. I’m sorry if you don’t give a shit so you can quit now. I don’t have any followers so I’m pretty much talking to myself. I asked her on Tuesday if she would go with me to the dance. She said yes, and in disbelief, I asked her again if she was sure, and that she could say no if she really didn’t want to go with me. I knew something was wrong and couldn’t sleep that night. The next day, I asked her again if she really wanted to go with me. I got another yes, and I finally accepted the fact that she would go with me. So I had a smile before I went to sleep and I was elated to have her as my date. Today, she told me that she really didn’t want to go with me, which tore me apart. Not only did it hurt to lose her, but I feel like I can’t trust her as much because she lied to me. Maybe there’s something wrong with me. Maybe it’s her. But all I know is that she filled me with doubt, made me y, then filled my day with disappointment…however there’s one friend I have that’s consistent and has the same mindset I have which makes it easy for me to get along with her. I kind of want her to know how much she means to me but that would be really awkward. So thanks for being there! I’m usually not as corny as this but what the hell. hahaha I’d say Ily but after having 3 shitty girlfriends who made the same mistakes as I did, I don’t want to jump headfirst into love.
